STIR/SHAKEN Trust process overview

The trust process comprises a number of necessary steps to firstly verify the request details, and then to collect the documentary proof required.

  1. Application form (you are HERE) Provide initial information required to verify and process the trust request.
  2. Phone number verification After submitting this form you will be required to verify the contact number you have supplied by inputting a two-factor authentication code that will be sent to your phone.
  3. Email address verification Once your phone number has been verified you will be sent a confirmation email to verify we have the correct email address for you. Click on the link in the email to verify your email and allow your request to proceed.
  4. Submit documents An automated message will be sent to you via the secure portal with details on how to submit documents. You will receive an email notification of an update on your request, follow the links to access the secure portal and retrieve the message.
  5. Application outcome Once we've reviewed your application and checked your documents you will receive another email notification of an update on your request,. Please access the secure portal via the email link to view the message.


In the event that we need further information, we will contact you via the secure portal. You may also access the portal at any time using the links in the email notifications to view the status of your request, or ask any questions.
